Zhe Fu (傅哲) is a lecturer at the School of Information, Renmin University of China. He obtained the Ph.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Renmin University of China. He is interested in the fields of business intelligence, data-driven decisions, multimedia analysis, and generative AI, with a primary focus on the applications and analysis of AI in personalized recommender systems and social media platforms.

Reseach Area

Dr. Fu focuses on the area of intelligent decision and management, his research topics include business intelligence, data-driven decisions, multimedia analysis, and generative AI. He has published over 20 papers at the top-tier international IS/CS journals and conferences such as POM, INFORMS JOC, I&M, ACM CSUR, ACM TKDD, SIGIR, and EMNLP. His research recieved the best complete paper award of PACIS 2024. He is serving as the Reviewer of Top IS/CS journals.

Lab

Dr. Fu serves as the member for Big Data Analytics and Intelligent Decision-Making Lab (大数据分析与智能决策实验室) at School of Information, Renmin University of China. The lab is dedicated to the advancement of social governance and decision support systems, aimed at creating more intelligent, efficient, explainable, and visuiable information systems.
